OUR COURSES
All of our courses are designed from the point view of you getting as much out of the course as possible. We understand that we all live and learn in differing ways, all of the instructing staff have a background in outdoor education and can accommodate your learning needs at the pace you want. Our courses will challenge you and hopefully you will leave with that feeling of achievement. Elements of the courses will be demanding and physically challenging in some way, but do not be deterred, nobody will be expected to do something they are not wholly comfortable with. Please note: all of our courses are alcohol free.

THE ORIGINAL COASTAL WANDER £40 **
This is where I started just walking out onto a beach for the day and seeing what there was to see. Now you can walk with me in a very informal walk across different areas of coastline, looking at the natural and human history of the foreshore. One great walk is along Menai straits from Pen Lon out onto salt marsh to have a raw snack of Marsh Samphire, then to Abermenai Point for great photo opportunities then back along Newborough beach and into the massive dunes fields, before returning to the car park. Approx miles.
INLAND FORAGE £25 **
A half day’s foraging in the in the woods and valleys of North Wales. You will discover the wide range of edible and medicinal plants free and easy to forage in most UK locations. We will look at basic animal tracks and signs local, natural history and some old folklore. Note: We tend to stay away from giving out fungi identification and hunting advice to preserve the UK fungi colonies and to prevent any misidentification possibly leading some less than happy outcomes.
WILD COOKING WEEKEND £185 **
This is a weekend of wild cooking. It is truly wild based in the wooded wilds of North Wales. This is truly stripped back to basic wild cooking. We will introduce you to Hangi pit cooking, earth ovens, open fire cooking, brining, smoking and jerked meats. The food will be seasonal and local and we will aim to have all of your completed dishes ready for an evening meal to remember.
